I have found that trends in keyword searches are constantly changing. In the early days of keyword analysis Free Classifieds was not as competitive as Free Ads and yielded similar results. Ironically Free Ads is now less competitive but with a huge number of monthly searches.
This in mind you would expect that it would be easier to rank for the latter term. Not so! I can only think that whilst this returns less competition, the competition utilising them are well optimised and in themselves actually harder to compete with.
Today I performed another brief analysis to see that the search term "Classifieds" is now producing far higher numbers than either of the last 2 terms and is far less competitive.
With this is mind I shall change my meta data and concentrate on my newest keyword.
Its important to continue to check for keywords competition and search results. IMHO text speech has taken over and we are all getting a bit short handed in the way we approach the internet. So this is a clear indication into why terms change in such a short space of time.
